Class Offerings
Friday Flow
After a long working week it is time to work that body with a strong challenging and stretchy flow to get fully ready for the weekend ahead!
Relax Flow
In this class, we move very slowly through soft, flowing sequences of poses. We allow ourselves to sink into a meditative state, deepening the connection with ourselves and every part of our body. This makes the movements deeply nourishing.
Hatha Flow
This class is something in-between Hatha and Vinyasa. The poses are practiced in a fluent motion following the pace of the breath, though not as tough as in a Vinyasa class, also not as static as a Hatha class.
Ashtanga Yoga
In Ashtanga yoga, the asanas (postures) are practiced in a fixed sequence of the Primary Series, in a continuous movement or 'flow' to the rhythm of the ujjayi breath.
Yang-Yin
This class starts with an active flow, finishing with relaxing Yin poses to calm down the nervoussystem.
Gentle Flow
Gentle flow yoga is a dynamic form of yoga where the postures (asanas) are performed in the rhythm of the breath. This 'flow' of movements creates both dynamism and inner peace.
Hatha Yoga
This class focuses on strengthening your body, improving your flexibility, and deepening your concentration on calm and regular breathing. The postures (asanas) are performed separately and held for a while before moving on to the next. The asanas do not flow into each other.
Yin
This is a low pace class to relax the body and to stimulate the connective tissue. Using props like belts, blocks, bolsters and blankets makes it easier to stay in a pose for a longer period of time (couple of minutes). Yin Yoga has a positive effect on your immune system, organs, muscles and joints.
Ashtanga Led & Mysore
Ashtanga Led is a class in which the teacher verbally conducts the sequence of (a part of) the Primary Series of the Ashtanga Yoga system.
Ashtanga Mysore is the traditional way Ashtanga yoga is being taught/learned. It’s a self practice, meaning practicing the series in your own pace to your own capacity. The teacher gives individual guidance, and adjusts or helps you deeper in the poses. Both classes are taught simultaniously.
Hatha (mellow morning)
Start your weekend off right with this gentle Hatha yoga class that will calmly stretch, strengthen, and energize your body. This class is also suitable for pregnant women in their second and third trimesters.
Sunday Flow
Shaking off the weekend and getting the body ready for the week ahead with a good workout in this fierce flow class.
Power Pilates
This style of Pilates has adapted the original excercises from Joseph Pilates according the latest insights in ArthroMyoFasciale Therapy and physiotherapy. It’s a challenging class based on physiotherapy en fitness.
Pilates
Mind-body training for overall fitness: strength, flexibility, balance, and control. Conscious practice with a focus on breathing and posture. Group class with music to improve mobility and muscle strength.
Vinyasa Yoga
Withg vinyasa yoga, the postures of hatha yoga are performed in series to the rhythm of the breath. This creates a smooth movement. This combination removes waste products from the body, gives you new energy and creates relaxation and mental peace. The classes are generally a bit more physically challenging than a hatha yoga class.
